"> For our group's project, we decided to focus on a freshman algebra class. We found a picture of a chalkboard and set as the background. By using the doodle function on VoiceThread, the teacher could present the information, as well as work out math problems, in a creative way that would keep the students attention. At first, the problems would need to be very basic so that the students wouldn't have any problem becoming familiar with Voicethread, and then gradually make the problems harder so that the students are getting the most out of the lesson. I think it would be difficult for students to use many features on computers for math class, but I do think that Voicethread has many features that would be helpful for students. We used this standard in our project: 7. Translate quantitative or technical information expressed in words in a text into visual form (e.g., a table or chart) and translate information expressed visually or mathematically (e.g., in an equation) into words.
